Hiking and Trekking

The above program is designed and developed specially to support the Adventure Tourism Sub sector in Sri Lanka. It has opened a provision for those who are awaiting to become professional Trekking Guide in the Adventure Tourism industry. The applicants for the course should possess their minimum of GEC O/L or Equivalent Entry Qualification with English language competencies and optionally it is open for those who gained minimum of five years’ experience in adventure tourism trekking sector. This Program is ensured to develop their both foundation and skill levels competencies by delivering both theoretical and practical components during the maximum of one year including on the job training (OGT) period.
