National Diploma in Choreography

The National Diploma in Choreography is a 18 months programme which opens up a path way for aspiring dancers to learn about the art of choreography or making of dances. The syllabus of the diploma covers many areas including dance, ballet, opera, musical theatre, film, television and fashion shows. The increasing popularity of the above mentioned fields demand dancers with the capacity to conceptualise, choreograph, design and compose dance items and full length dance workouts. The objective of the course is to produce choreographers with the capacity to cater to the high demands of the dance field in Sri Lanka.

Entry criteria

G.C.E. Advance Level or G.C.E. Ordinary Level with minimum of 02 years’ experience in a related subject area.

Dancers of all Disciplines, Performers, Troop Members, Literary personnel, Dance Teachers, University Dance Students, Film & Television & Radio Personnel, Artists, Sculptors, Musicians and those with experience in any aesthetic subject area.
