Construction Equipment Training Centre (CETRAC)

The Construction Equipment Training Centre (CETRAC) serves as Sri Lanka's premier institution for developing skilled personnel in the repair, maintenance, and management of construction equipment and related engineering disciplines. Established in 1997 through the collaboration of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and later integrated into the Construction Industry Development Authority (CIDA), CETRAC has been instrumental in enhancing the technical capabilities of school leavers, industry workers, and professionals.

Equipped with state-of-the-art Japanese machinery, CETRAC offers a comprehensive range of training programs designed to meet the evolving needs of the construction industry. The center's resource personnel, trained in Japan, ensure that participants receive high-quality, practical education. Additionally, CETRAC provides accommodation, conference facilities, a canteen, and recreational amenities to support a conducive learning environment.
