PROFESSIONAL ENGLISH

Overview

This advanced course in English prepares students for undergraduate and postgraduate education at a local or foreign university where the primary medium of instruction is English and also trains professionals to engage in fluent and coherent communication in a workplace. The course will help learners develop their higher-order thinking skills and use them in communications, enhance their fluency and instil confidence in the use of the language. The course will also help learners develop their formal writing skills, communication skills, including formal presentations and negotiation skills, reporting skills and core language skills required to operate in a professional work environment.
