PRESCHOOL TEACHER TRAINING

Overview

This certificate course will provide learners with the discipline and training necessary to guide children under their care. The curriculum, which has been developed by experts, comprises of the latest techniques and methods which can be used to aid in early childhood care and developments. This certificate course is suitable for those who plan to be a preschool teacher or for those who are already engaged as preschool teachers. 

Entry Criteria

• Candidate must pass one of the criteria:
• 3 “PASSES” from the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination
• 6 “PASSES” from the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination including “Credit” passes for Mathematics and First Language (Sinhala/Tamil)
•  6 “PASSES” from the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination and a one year certificate relevant to preschool education from a reputed institute registered under a government body
