Introduction

Department of Economics of the University of Kelaniya has been conducting Master of Social Sciences (MSSc) degree program since 1998. The course have been prescribed according to the general regulations for postgraduate degrees offered by the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Kelaniya.

To provide graduates/employees with coherent theoretical and analytical skills that requires for current job market in both private and public sector.

Teaching Methods and Evaluation Criteria

Teaching and learning methods: Lectures and Assignments/class tests.

Method of evaluation: Written examination 80% Assignments 20%.
