BSc in Molecular Biology and Bioentrepreneurship – External

BSc in Molecular Biology and Bioentrepreneurship is a 3-year external undergraduate degree programme executed in 3 levels, covering 90 credits offered by IBMBB, University of Colombo. The programme is a blend of Molecular Biology and Bioentreprenuriship on a single platform, focusing on transforming conceptual knowledge in life sciences into applied sciences, facilitating novel business start-ups, and enhancing the lifestyles of the associated communities. The programme consists of a broad spectrum of subject disciplines, such as Molecular biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Bioinformatics, Immunology, Fundamental Chemistry, Clinical Chemistry, Genetics, etc. blended with Biotech-based applications as Bioentrepreneurship.

Mode of delivery

The programme will be conducted by blended mode during weekends and afterhours of weekdays.

Eligibility

Passes in GCE Advanced Level in Biological Sciences or Biosystems Technology, London Advanced Level (Edexcel or Camebridge) or any other equivalent academic/professional qualifications.

Programme fee

Rs. 600,000/- Per annum (payable in installments).
