Requirements

• Three (03) passes at G.C.E. (A/L) in Biology stream ( including Agricultural Science ) or Bio systems Technology stream / Obtained the Advance Certificate in Science (Biology) offered by OUSL / pass in Foundation course of OUSL

AND

• A Credit / ‘B’ pass in English language at the G.C.E (O/L) examination Work experience in Microbiology would be an added advantage to follow the course.

• NVQ Level 4 in a relevant field and 30 credits of the Advance Certificate in Science, or

• Any other qualification accepted by the senate of The Open University of Sri Lanka.
