Maritime English Language Course – Support Level
Overview
This course aims to meet the support level English Language requirements and recommendations that have to be met by seafarers, as defined in the International Convention on Standards of training, Certification and Watch keeping for Seafarers. (STCW 1978 amended).
Intake Limitations
Maximum 24 students per course.
Academic Faculty
Our training will be delivered by properly qualified lecturers and instructors with qualifications as specified in MSN 03/2022 issued by the Director General of Merchant Shipping, Merchant Shipping Secretariat, Sri Lanka.
Entry Requirements
This course is principally intended as basic training for seafarers employed or engaged in any capacity on-board ships as part of the ships complement with designated duties in operation of the ship. There are no particular educational requirements.
