Course Overview

This course provides systematic and organized training to acquire the skills and knowledge required for the latest techniques and procedures for welding and cutting occupations.

This course will be carried out under the accreditation of the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) and conducted in line with the National Competency Standards (NCS).

After completing this course, you will be able to find a job as a welder in public sector and private sector, locally and internationally and start a self-employment.

COURSE MODULE:

Cut steel by oxyacetylene / Oxy fuel flame, Weld steel plates by manual metal arc welding In Flat, Horizontal, vertical, overhead position, Weld steel plates by oxyacetylene welding in flat, Horizontal, vertical, overhead position, Weld steel plates by Metal Active Gas welding (MAG) welding in all positions, Weld stainless steel pipes by Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding in all positions, Weld nonferrous metal pipes by Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding in all Position, Weld stainless steel Pipes by Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding in all positions, perform metal spraying and hard facing, Weld metal by submerged arc welding process and cut metal by plasma cutting process
