Course Overview


This course is designed as a basic program for those who wish to obtain a Continuous Discharge Certificate (CDC), a requirement to navigate as a sailor on merchant ships.

It provides systematic and organized training to acquire the skills and knowledge required for assisting deck officers in all routing operational activities of the deck rated machinery and equipment and assist the officer of the watch, in watch keeping duty. This course is approved by the Merchant Shipping Secretariat (MSS) in line with the STCW guidelines.
