Course Overview

This program is designed to improve the knowledge and skills regarding safe and efficient navigation for fishing voyages. GPS provide the fastest and most accurate method for fishermen to navigate, measure distance and speed, and determine location. In addition, GPS allows for higher levels of safety and efficiency for fishermen. Further, GPS equipment helps fishermen save time and fuel through more efficient routes. This program also includes signals for day and night, importance knots for mariners and maritime laws.
