BSC (HONOURS) IN DATA SCIENCE

BSc (Honors) in Data Science programme at NSBM Faculty of Computing is carefully designed in line with the latest ACM and IEEE guidelines for Data Science undergraduate awards and aims to produce graduates with the required skills and knowledge in core and emerging trends in the technological and business disciplines.

During the first year, students will develop their foundational knowledge in computing, which is mandatory to absorb Data Science related concepts and their applications. From second year onwards, gradually the Data Science flavor of the degree programme is escalating. In the third year, whilst sharpening their skills on data science, they ought to fulfill a mandatory industry placement. In the fourth year, they are being guided to pursue an individual research project to showcase the expertise they have developed through the Programme
