ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

For entry into year 1: Diploma in English

• Selection from a placement test followed by an interview

OR

• Diploma in English for Professionals
• 3 passes for A/L + 3 years of working experience

OR

Admission through interviews:

• Applicants with professional experience, are welcome to apply.
• All non-standard or marginal applications for admission are considered upon the approval of the relevant academic body.

For entry into year 2: BA (Hons) English Studies

• Completion of the Diploma in English Programme (Full time)

OR

• Diploma in English for Professionals (Part-time) at NIBM

OR

• The English language requirement is an IELTS grade of 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5. in each component and competence to study using the English Language / Credit pass in English at the G.C.E (O/L) exam and a Pass in General English at the G.C.E. (A/L) exam or equivalent.
