Certificate in Early Learning (NVQ level 4)

The Certificate in Early Learning will give you an introduction to what children’s services is all about and develop basic skills to care

for children.

Some units of study:

• Basic child development
• Health and safety
• Learning through play
• Children’s nutrition
• Caring for children

Course duration: 6 months

Class schedule: 

Theory – once a week (weekday or weekend)

Practical placement – 420 hours within course period

Assessment: Assignments and final project
