Product Photography for Professionals

Overview

• Learn the essentials of Commercial Photography from real professionals
• Learn to control each and every element in your frame to bring the vision of your client or Art Director to life
• Learn the ‘why’ of everything you do from camera settings and set preparation to choosing lights and finishing the edit
• Learn the craft of lighting and how to choose lights, lighting angles and lighting ratios to create stunning product shots
• Learn how to be a team player and the art of working with Art Directors

Course Duration

• 4 Classes
• 4 hours x 4 (16 hours of teaching and training - equivalent to 01 IME Credit)

Course Description

• All classes are interactive multimedia experiences
• Hands on training on all the scenarios taught in the class
• Lights, shooting table & the subjects will be provided by IME for all the lighting classes
• This one credit course can be carried over to the Diploma
• Certificate of participation will be awarded to participants with 100% attendance

Intended Audience

• Professional Photographers who want to get in to product photography
• Students who have completed the Advanced Competency in Digital Photography course
• Anyone who wants to study product / still life photography provided that person has a decent understanding of basics of photography and lighting

• A DSLR or a Modern Mirrorless Camera or any other camera with manual controls for Aperture, Shutter & ISO
• A laptop computer with Adobe Lightroom installed
