The course is 45 h duration and will consist of theory and practicals with hands-on experience in key methods used in modern biotechnology, the course will provide opportunities to perform the latest as well as commonly used techniques of PCR amplification and cloning, Making recombinant constructs, Analysis of the correct construct, Transformation and screening of recombinants, Protein expression and purification, Introduction to protein crystallization, Getting structural insights to proteins using bioinformatics/computer graphics-based exercises. The course is suitable for young scientists, academics, undergraduate and postgraduate students, technical officers students awaiting higher studies in biological sciences and individuals who are interested in molecular biology and biotechnology.
