• NVQ (Sri Lanka) level 3 Caregiver

• RQF Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Health and Social Care – OTHM Qualification (OFQUAL – UK)
• RQF Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management – OTHM Qualification (OFQUAL – UK)
• RQF Level 5 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care Management – OTHM Qualification (OFQUAL – UK)

National vocational qualifications (NVQ) are regulated by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission of Sri Lanka while Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF) programs are regulated and awarded OTHM-UK. OTHM is a UK based organization, awarding qualifications which are regulated by the Office of the Qualifications and Examinations regulations (OFQUAL) in the United Kingdom. All programs delivered at FEC are globally recognized and will assist the qualifiers to step in to this Noble profession easily,

COURSE DELIVERY

The course is conducted at the main student facility of FEC in Colombo 08. Practical studies carries an Integral part of the course hence a dedicated fully-equipped classroom is allocated to facilitate the requirements. Our diligent panel of lecturers carries a lot of industry experience both as lecturers and professionals. We do conduct special workshops and training by guest lecturers who are highly qualified in the respective fields for extended learning in the particular subject matter. (Some of the workshops conducted are on, Non-communicable diseases, First AID, Physiotherapy, Water therapy etc.)

PROSPECTS OF THE PROGRAM

Being a qualified caregiver has no limitations for future growth. You’re immediately able to start a highly paid career in any part of the world. These will open doors apply for foreign employment especially with a migration options. Many developed countries have special provisions to welcome ‘Qualified Caregivers’ with an opened arm approach.

However ‘Caregiver program’ is a strong foundation for career-minded individual who look forward to exceed in the career.
