BSc (Hons) Business Management

Overview

Whether you want to work for a multinational company or launch your own start-up, you’ll find lots of exciting opportunities in the business world. Our business management degree will equip you with the skills, knowledge, experience and connections to achieve your ambitions in a wide range of sectors.

The course covers topics such as operations management, managing equality, diversity and inclusion, and developing sustainable businesses. You can also delve into strategic management in a global context and choose two elective modules from a range of subjects.

You’ll explore everything from a real-world perspective, with live industry briefs and the chance to create your own consultancy to work with existing companies. The course also includes business simulations, where you’ll make financial decisions and experience key areas such as operations, marketing and HR.

The BSc (Hons) Business Management can be completed as a three-year or a two-year (accelerated) full-time degree awarded by Staffordshire University, UK.

Teaching & Learning

All of our business courses will equip you with a diverse skillse t in leadership and management and the latest knowledge of how business operates in the real world. You will graduate with a creative approach to problem-solving, be able to interpret and use financial data, have teamworking and persuasive communication skills, and show confidence in managing time, projects and resources.

You will be taught via a combination of lectures, tutorials, and independent study. You will use resources including books, journals and digital databases, social media resource banks and more to immerse yourself in each discipline and you will be challenged to picture what the business landscape of the future will be. To build further business links, there will also be career talks, visits and guest speakers from industry. You’ll learn from staff who bring a wealth of business experience and research expertise. 

On successful completion of study, we will issue the following award: BSc (Hons) Business Management.
