Entry Criteria

A person who satisfies any one of the following qualifications is eligible for applying to enroll in the programme,

Successful completion of the PgDip (Sports and Exercise Science) conducted by the Department of Allied Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo.

OR

A professional course/program equivalent to SLQF level 8 or above related to sports and exercise science recognized by the Faculty Board of Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo. Such applicants may be exempted from the course units in the first year based on topics covered in their professional course. However, they shall be required to follow all the rest of bridging modules in the first year which are not covered during their professional course.

AND

Obtaining at least 50% marks at the competency assessment examination (computer literacy and English knowledge) and an interview conducted by Faculty of Medicine University of Colombo.
