DIPLOMA IN PSYCHOTHERAPY

This course is designed to provide the learner with advanced exploration and analysis of counselling techniques as well as Psychotherapy. The learner will get the opportunity to learn the concepts of traditional and contemporary counseling practice and various psychotherapies under the supervision of a Registered Clinical Psychologist, Psychotherapist, and Clinician.

The learner will also get to learn the psychotherapeutic approach for different Psychological disorders.

This course can also be useful to a professional psychotherapist who needs a touch-up in new systems and practices in the field. The focus of the course is on developing the counselling and psychotherapy skills of personal presence and awareness of the process. Attention is also paid to interpersonal and group skills.

Students who successfully complete both practical and theory components are awarded the diploma.

Minimum Qualification

– Candidate should pass G.C.E (A/L) with 3 passes in any subject stream.

– BSc in Psychology, BA in Psychology

                              OR

 – Dip in Counseling Psychology
