Course Overview

This course has been designed to provide wide range of specialized technical or scholastic knowledge and skills to provide a well-rounded base in all aspects of recreational water sport and coaching. This course will provide knowledge and necessary skills for organizing and implementing training program. This qualification can either be used to progress your career, or for further study at Higher National Diploma Level.

COURSE MODULE:

SEMESTER 1

Pre-introduction to water sports science and recreation, Introduction to physics, Mathematics, Remote sensing and GIS, English for technology, Fundamental of human biology and physiology, Meteorology, Workplace Information Management, Workplace Communication Management

SEMESTER 2

Basics of seamanship and navigation, Basics of oceanography, Open water and advance open water diving, Fundamentals of surfing, Fundamentals of wind surfing, Basics of sailing, Jet watercraft, Planning and Scheduling work at workplace
