Certificate of Professional Development in Oncology Nursing Care

This course is designed with a view to integrating the components of wholeness in the care of the individual with cancers, concerns in health patterns. It will explore the evolution of quality of life in oncology, theories and conceptual models, life methodological and measurement issues, clinical implications, cancer survivorship, and quality of life of oncology clients. This course will help the candidates to apply theoretical knowledge and skills, within the format of the nursing process, in providing Nursing care for cancer patients. This includes involving the use patient’s family and community in meeting their needs.
