Higher Diploma In Computer Science (HDCS)

The comprehensive syllabus of HDCS which specialize for software Engineering .HDCS has been designed in accordance with the Sri Lanka Qualification Framework (SLQF). This consists of 20 Modules and 9 Optional (noncredit) Modules.

2 years (Final project and 6 month in-plant training included)

Minimum Admission Requirement

General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) or, an equivalent qualification, and 

completion of a minimum of 30 credits at SLQF Level 3(NVQ 3), Or 

completion of NVQ level 4 followed by a corresponding cognitive bridging programme of minimum 30 credits as determined by the academic authority of the Higher Education Institute concerned may also be considered as an equivalent qualification in that field of specialization.
